· What: Take an interactive online course including: College Algebra, Statistics, Entry Level Mathematics, Psychology and Introductory Programming. Courses cost $150 including all materials. · What: Take a college level English as a Second Language (ESL) class; practice for the SAT; go on field trips. Students must have an 86+ high school average. The program costs $50.

Refugee Youth Summer Academy @ IRC DEADLINE: until spaces fill
· Who: students 20 years old or younger
· What: Improve your English language skills; take art classes; go on fun field trips. Free food and Metrocards are provided.
· Where: Murry Bergtraum High School, located at 411 Pearl Street, Manhattan
· When: July 8th to August 16th from 8:15am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Fridays are for field trips to different places in NYC.
STEM Summer Program DEADLINE: June 7th
· Who: students in grades 9-11th who are interested in technology and business
· What: Learn to code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; work in teams to create a mobile app prototype, business plan, and business pitch; and collaborate with professional mentors from companies such as Tumblr, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Union Square Ventures, and MakerBot. Free MetroCards available.
· Where: Financial District in Lower Manhattan
· When: 8-weeks starting July 8th. In September, student teams will demo their apps and pitch their business idea to a panel of expert judges to compete for $5,000 in cash and prizes.
